See Houston Like Never Before: A Car Scavenger Hunt for Curious Minds
Looking for a unique way to spend a Saturday afternoon? Gather your friends and colleagues and take part in Derive & Drive a Scavenger Hunt with a Twist — a driving challenge designed for those who love trivia, puzzles, and exploring Houston from a fresh perspective.
This isn’t your average scavenger hunt. You’ll need sharp driving skills, local knowledge, and the ability to think critically as you work through clever clues and tasks throughout the city.
The hunt is designed by Monikka Mann, Houston native, robotics mentor, and gameshow competitor featured on Jeopardy!, The Weakest Link, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and The Chase.
Proceeds support Monikka’s robotics program benefiting students across Houston — helping fund competition fees, parts, and scholarships for talented youth in FIRST Robotics.
Expect thoughtful clues, fun puzzles, and a chance to rediscover Houston’s neighborhoods, landmarks, and hidden gems. Your team will compete to capture "artifacts" — landmarks, signs, or places — and prove your finds with selfies along the way.
Teams of up to 4 participants will enjoy friendly, spirited competition that rewards collaboration and creativity.
If you love driving your fancy car around town, have a sharp eye for detail, and enjoy a good challenge — this event is for you!
